Book Launch

There are moments in life that quietly arrive after years of unseen effort, and when they do, they carry with them far more emotion than we ever expect.

Launching my book, Living Well – Finding Simplicity After the Storm, has been one of those moments.

This book was never written simply to become a published title. It was written because, like many people in midlife, I have known seasons of challenge, uncertainty, exhaustion and personal rebuilding. It grew slowly through years of reflection, life experience, professional learning, and a growing desire to put into words something meaningful that might help others navigate their own difficult seasons.

My book was officially launched at The London Book Fair last week. Like many meaningful milestones, it came with a mixture of excitement, nerves, disappointment, learning, and reflection. Not everything unfolded quite as I had imagined, and there were difficult moments along the way, but perhaps that itself reflects one of the strongest messages within the bookwhich is that life rarely unfolds perfectly, yet we keep moving forward.

As a former NHS Advanced Nurse Practitioner, educator, and founder of Serenity Health & Wellbeing, so much of my working life has been spent supporting others through change, challenge and recovery. Writing this book allowed me to bring together that professional understanding with the personal lessons that often sit behind the scenes.

This launch also reminded me how much no meaningful journey is ever achieved alone. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, purchased the book, shared kind words, or simply followed this journey with warmth and support.
